There have been some posts on RC (Geo, Zeph) saying that they make a channel on the base plate and place the acrylic tube into it. They claim this gives a strong bonding. Is this true?
Yeah, seems like a lot of people are now doing that. I do believe, with the exception of the older ETSS stuff, I was the first to start doing that. Geo has a habit of just snagging other people's ideas and using them for his knockoff cheap products. You have to have the ability to machine that groove, which can be a little tricky.
