Pump Size Question

Fergy,

I am finishing my second reactor. This reactor has an 18" tube and will be serving a 125G reef. I am trying to help my buddy decide on what type pump to use on this reactor. I have been told that the Iwaki's are alot quiter than the little giants.

Have had any experienc with Iwaki's?

If I do get the Iwaki, should I go with a 20RLT (420GPH) or a 30RLT (510GPH).

One other question. I can't find the referenc where we were told what size reactor handles what size tank. Do you recall? I have an 18" and a 22" .

There never was a reference as to what size handles what size tank. There are just too many variables in that. I guess you can look at other products made by other people, and compare to what they are rating their products for, but it's all BS.

You'll be fine with the Iwaki 20.
