I took pictures of these. These parts were on my old compact flourescent canopy. i did a DIY canopy and am installing my metal halide kid http://aquaticlight.com/retrofit.html#Aquatic but i was wondering where to get these missing pieces.

i need to put these between the reflector and the wood as well as between the metal bulb holder, reflector and wood

and the water resistant cable so

where would i find these pieces. are there any stores local to the los angeles area? also id like to know where i could buy bulkheads so i could make a DIY sump.

For the spacer, you can use scrape wood... who going to see it?!?

for the quick disconnect, check out Molex compponents. You probably won't be able to find an identical pair, but again, your fishes won't mind.

As for water resistant cable, I would just use regular cable from electric shop... just make sure the outer jacket is not make of paper and you will be fine. Unless, of course, you are planning to submerge the cable under water all the time....
