the website says "plastic". dont know what grade of plastic. these are shipping tubes. thought a person could maybe use this in the making of a diy skimmer or what not. :mrgreen:
i called the 800# and the guy said that the thickest standard wall, say in a 3" or 4" tube was 1/32, and he said there is a minimum of 1000 pcs. per order so forget i even posted this. thought i was on to something. 8)
Just for reference, these tubes are usually butyrate - can be glued with standard solvents such as tetrahydrafuran (PVC cement & Weld-on 2007) and MEK (Weld-on 1802). The PITA would be the thin wall but you could prolly run a fillet around it or use a gusset for strength.
