DIY noob questions.

I am a DIY noob.

I have completed one DIY project, creating a durso overflow for my Oceanic 75g reef ready tank to replace the 'REALLY LOUD' overflow situation.

I really need an automated topoff. So I ordered a float switch from www.floatswitches.net. It was very cheap, but the switch itself seems to be very high quality. The problem is, i don't know how to wire it. I think, in theory, that the switch needs to be between the power and the powerhead, but I don't really know how to do that. I know, I know, I'm pathetic. But beyond that, can anyone help me out?

Most of these switch involve a relay switch to handle a powerhead.

You need a low-voltage powersupply for the float switch and the relay, and you need to get a relay switch for the 110VAC and be control by the powersupply.

Maybe some one can post a link with schematic :?
