DIY Skimmer.....

Well I failed miserably. I built two skimmers one 36" tall and the other 24" tall. I believe my problem are the pumps. But anyhow enough w/ this mess. They do look really good, actually the 24" looks great but anyhow.

So what skimmer should I get for my sump? I have a 125g and was thinking about getting a euroreef..

why did you fail? cos i've just started planning a diy skimmer. have any advice?

I've copied this to the DIY forum for some help with DIYing a skimmer. As for the Euroreef, I can wholeheartedly endorse their line of skimmers. I've been a happy customer of theirs for over 5 years.

Dont give up so easily (well maybe later on when you have the time and will) DIY skimmers can be VERY good skimmers find out about the beckett style ones I have seen very successful and powerfull ones.

And yes go with (not the smallest) Euro-Reef you wont be disappointed.
