Has anyone ever used standard kitchen cabinets to make their stand? Structualy are they strong enough? I thought this would be a good base for a DIY stand, you can get unfinished cabinates at lowes for a good price.
Warning-Don't get them wet. Almost all factory made cabinets use wood fiber products that swell and decompose if they get wet. You need plywood sides to survive the occasional spills most of us have.
