Yeah, but I'm working on a saltwater safe coating that still transfers heat well. (like the silicone that they make the flexable baking pans from.) I was going to use plasti dip, but it will block too much of the heat I think.

I may just buck up and get Titanium and bolt the aluminum to it.

But then we're talking money!

I got an Ice Probe with controller from Premium Aquatics for $160.

You know the salt water going to kill the aluminum, right?

Pretty sure he was going to epoxy the rod.
