Need Help Changing End Caps on Compact Florescent Lighting

I currently use a Coralife Lunar Aqualight compact florescent lighting. The end caps are Hamilton/German style (for pins in a straight line). I want to convert the end caps to CSL/Panasonic style (for pins in a square configuration). I’ve ordered the new end caps and bulbs. Here’s where I need help. From what I’ve been told, the new end caps only use two wires, but manufactures use four. So, when I try to retrofit my ballast with new end caps, how do I know which two wires to use? I’d prefer not to call out an electrician for such a small job, but I also don’t want to mess this up.

My CSL endcaps are wired together at the ballast. I can't recall off hand which two wires go together, or what pins they go to. But you should have no problem switching them over.
