Has anyone ever had any luck polishing scratches out of glass. I purchased an old tank with a scratched up front pane. I bought a glass polishing kit from eastwood.com, but it really doesn't work well, and has left a cloudy haze on the glass that I cannot get rid of. Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't try to remove it. The cloudy haze is a series of small scratches. Is this inside or out side? Inside it will fade away with water in it. I assume this tank is drilled in some way making this the front pain?

It is drilled. I noticed that when it was wet you could not see the scratches, but I figured that when algae began to grow over the area, it would be a real pain to keep it clean. Have you tryed this also?
