Looking for recommendations on easy, effective diy skimmer...i'm having trouble finding ones with clear directions. Thanks.

everyone seems to like the becket designs.. maybe educator soon.. lol

My beckett skimmer was the one taugth in the MACO acrylics course. MACO is getting ready to start a new course soon, but I now sure what they are going to be fabricating in class this time.

There are tons of DIY stuff at OZ Reef, but I have not personally built any of them.

These also have some good links. Snailman has step by step easy to follow. I'll be using a cobination of several of these designs for some skimmers on a larger scale central system, soon. Oz is a great resourse too. Plus if you ask him a question, he answers it, unlike the others.
