Yes. It does not make a permanent bond, but it will hold baffles in place for a long long time. Since the connection is not a water proof application, it does not matter that it's not technically considered permenant.
when i build my old refuge i used a poorly cut acrilic sheet and used pvc glue ( with bits of pvc and acrilic in it to make it thick) and that worked great ( but my fuge was all acrilic)
silicon and plexiglass never worked for me. maby if you scratch the surface tho it will work better
