I want to make a vertical LR "wall" for the side of my new cube tank. How can I attach LR together? Basically, I would like to use my flat rocks and just construct a wall, about 18 inches tall by about 6 inches wide and as thin as possible. I've considered connecting them wiht cement, but don't really want to wait 12 weeks for it to cure. Any brilliant ideas out there?

Acrylic rod, fiber glass rod, two part epoxy, etc. Your imagination is the limit.

zip ties and a drill can help if you have corals to cover those zipties (although in a good system coraline will cover those quite rapidly.

I was just looking at your other thread about the cement and like the idea of nylon bolts. Then reading this one some thing struck me. Your looking for thin pcs. A wet tile saw can be used to frag lots of lps. Wouldn't have belived if it I hadn't seen it at IMAC, but anyhow. If it will slice up the hard coral it should cut through LR with no problem. This would allow you to get thin slices to cover the over flow and not use up a lot of tank space doing so. Prior to having to move my 220 had lots of purple zip-ties. I took a drill, popped holes is small rubble and strung them through the zip strip. Made some pretty cool liking rock work.
