DIY Eclipse Six Lighting

if anybody tried to upgrade an eclipse lighting, u know u have to gut the old light completly out. so doing sum research on retrofit kits and finding none actulally fit and the one that did it was out of stock for at least 7 months. so off to home depot, all of the pc sockets were a little to thick so man, i was out o luck, but then i saw a desktop lamp that used 27 watt quad fluorescents, bingo, and it was small enough so heres a cpl pics if u want more details let me know

looks cool. I did a mod with a screw in PC lamp in a little Eclipse three.

Worked for little stars polyps and xenia.

wow howd u do that? id like to put another bulb in i still have room

it was very ghetto. Duct tape and a hole that I drilled where I mounted the switch that was attacted to the screw in base.

You can get little 11 watt bulbs. I think I have seen 15 watters too!

How is the heat off of those bulbs?

actually im running them 10 - 12 hours a day and the temp went up 1 degree went from 80 - 81, so i think my mod did a tank good , lol
