canopy

i got this MH retrofit kit for a tank i will be getting soon. i need a canopy to install the light but i havent found one that i think is suitabale. can any one link me some plans on how to make a canopy ..since i may have to build one on my own..thx

I don't know about any plans for building a canopy.

When I changed my lighting to MH on my old 75G tank, I had the same problem. The hood that I originally had was not tall enough for MH with reflectors. So I pretty much just built a new hood in the same manner as the original hood, only taller. It came out quite nice.

Just go to your your local fish store and study how all the canopy's they have are built and copy cat them.

i was thinking about finding a nice pool table light and converting it. then hanging it above the tank. one of those will work for a 90 or smaller tank.
