New Sump

Here's my latest sump. It's made from a used glass aquarium and plexiglass, and GE silicone and new kent float valve. 30" x 12" x 18"

Total cost $60 that's including having the hole drilled for the float valve.

So far after 3 weeks it's working great.

Seems like it is for a canister, or similar filter.

This pump is almost exactly like mine (standard 29G glass tank) except that mine is mirrored and I do not have the series of baffles. My only regret is making the return area so small (like yourself). It is working out well for me also, though.
