DIY Baffles

I just got a 20 gallon tank which will be converted into a sump. Are there any alternative materials to use as baffles that I could get at Home Depot?

Some use acrylic, some use lexan, some use glass. All three are available at HD. Any particular property you are looking for?

You can also use plastic tubs in larger tubs (like the 20g) in place of baffels.

I want acrylic but I wasn't sure where I could get them. Apparently HD has it, but I was just there and they don't carry it. I may have to go to a different store or even Lowes. thanks for the help guys

You may want to talked to the customer service desk and ask them to contact the neigboring HD for availability.

Was looking for paving stone, and the fellow just give me a list that show the store have the stones in stock. Well, just want to say that they don't have a good inventory control program, and after 6 gals of gaseline and four hour of my time with two kids, I finally got what I needed. The last store looked at me like a idiot and says I should have ask the custom service rep. to do the phone call, instead driving around and waste my time. :x

FWIW Home depot used to have a glass section with glass and acrlyic and cut to order. Lowes still has that.

Yes, plexiglass is the tradename for acrylic.
