I dont know if there is a thread already made for this but its just some articles I found so that you can make your own liverock.... it ends up being just as beneficial as REAL live rock and its less expensive, doesn't harm reefs and might be kind of fun to watch and be able to say.... I MADE THAT!

I haven't read through all the articles yet but I will see if i can find a list of reef safe rocks to post.
Here is another link with various types of rocks and what is safe to use and how to clean and whatnot. Unfortunatly for me lava rock does not seem to be a good choice....
