ok so everyone knows water quality is essential. RO/DI is the way to go, but...... if when the water evaporates out of the tank it leaves the salt behind, does it leave all other impurities behind? if it did then why couldnt you run a de-humidifier and use the water collected in the tank as "pure," filtered water?

p.s.- i know i am so wrong and someone is going to make that well known:headache: if so, sorry

It won't work. Dehumidifiers have copper coils in it and that's not good.
