Can a metal halide light and ballast that used to be used for an indoor garden, be adjusted for aquarium use.

I believe they are different. Ususally garden light are sodium vapors but IMO they can be used for a planted FW tank.

show us the specs or info on the item ....
but you might have to chage the ballst and bulb....thats usually the case...

Try the bulb first before you go through hooking it up...
