i just found an old overflow box that i bought from digi around a year ago when i needed one for my tanks that i did not drill.i drilled a 45 mm hole in the back of that and siliconed it to my drain.this way i have a overflow which should bring my water level up higher.

Duke, nice job. I would just make sure nobody (no little hands!!!!!!) touch that overflow ball valve. That's a disaster waiting to happen. Otherwise it all looks good.

Do you need some LocLine for that return?

my little ones know not to touch.they only look at my 110 they know its dads baby.this one is going to be pretty much my sons.ill teach him the in and outs.i put the ball valve on drain hose because when i do water changes i shut the valve so the water level doesnt drop to much for corals on top of rocks
