DIY Skimmer, what would you do?

So all yout DIY'er's out there, I picked up this skimmer from Aaron(Thanks Aaron) yesterday. I have an idea of how i'd like to mod it and keep it external. I just wanted to see what you guys think, cause I'm sure you guys probably have better ideas than me. Here are some pics.

anyone have any suggestions on what pump you woujld use to run it?

SKimmer body is about 4 inches in diameter and about 18inches tall.

Don't waste your time or money on it :biglaugh:

The neck is too small and too tall for any pump to work right.

chris it can be a cool fuge/phyto reactor just like randy have....i think you can do many things with this acrylic ...but to use it as a skimmer? no bro you passed this stage already ...or i can have a realy cool cpr backpak for you ..lolol
