I'm going to build a kalk stirrer. I've found plans for a timer, and I can build it for about $10. Now I just need a motor to actually stir the kalk.

Sure, I could just buy a deltec, but why spend the cash when I can DIY one?

I've looked at the magnetic stirrer ones, and they're okay. I'd rather do a stir-rod version.

SO what I'm looking for is a small DC motor, anywhere from 3-12v, and somewhere around 60rpm. Waterproof would be sweet, but I can build a bushing if I need. I don't really want to spend $50 on one motor. $15 is better, $10 is more what I want.

The whole motor housing shoud be able to fit into a 4" piece of tubing. IF the motor I find is a bit bigger, I might step it up to 5 or 6" tube.

I have a couple of motors 'sitting around' but I'd rather buy something new-ish (refurb/pull) so i can have a backup, or build more than one. (like 5)

I've checked mcmaster, digikey, mouser, all-electronics, and hosfelt. Nothing works for what I want (for the price I want to pay)

I don't pay for RC so I can't search. Google is no help either.

Thanks
B
