To build a refugium/sump of 3 feet wide by 3 feet tall by 4 feet long, what would be a safe thickness of acrylic? and where are acrylic panels available?

I don't think I'd try a 270 gallon sump as my first acrylic project. you might want to source it out.

However, I buy most of my acrylic from t&t plastic land. http://www.ttplasticland.com/

They're a bit cheaper than canal plastics, and the guys are more helpful. Anytime I have a question they answer it, and give me tips on how not to mess up. Great guys overall.
