RO/DI Installation

Hi gang - just installing a RO/DI under the sink, and I have a quick question on the installation of the ro/di drain line...

It's asking to drill a hole the drain pipe, and connect to it...

Not too comfortable drilling into a brass drain pipe. I tried yesterday, but the drill is not staying put (slipping to the left and right). Any suggestions on the drilling? If I can avoid the drilling altogether, even better! thanks.

I just stick the tube down the drain when making water, then tuck it away when not in use. No drilling holes necessary.

put the bracket where the tube goes through on the brass pipe and put the drill bit through that.

It just doesn't look as nice taking it in and out to the drain.

Order a drain saddle clamp.

It is super easy to install, just drilla hole and clamp it on!

just get the faucet adapter for $10 and avoid the drilling and permanent drilling all together.

drain saddle clamp comes with the pipe piercing tool otherwise use the drill at a low speed with a small bit then work your way up to the size needed
