It's time to build a sump - Is there a cash-and-carry source for acrylic in the city? Something on one of the major subway lines is a huge plus, as is any place that will cut to size.

Canal Plastic is ok, they have everything, and there cuts are from a table saw but pretty good.
near pretty much any subway that stops at canal.

t&t plastic land a block or so south of canal on church is usally a bit cheaper.

canal plastic is expensive..

theres also a sign supply store on allen st.(btw. hester and canal)
last time i bought a sheet of 1/4" acrylic was 70$ for a 4'x8'..
they can also cut sheets and has the solvents
