Installing Booster Pump question

So I got an Aquatec 8800 because I was tired of waiting 12 hours to get 2 gallons of filtered water at <20 psi.

Now that I got one, it's I can't figure out how to install it. :-(

It says so install it after the sediment filter, but before the carbon. Not sure how that is possible because the filter chambers are connected one after the other... can't figure out how to plug it in.

can anyone help?

I've got the same Aquatec 8800. I just put mine directly after the saddle valve (where the source water comes from), before any of the filters.

yup, I just did the same. But I've heard that it can wear out the pump since the particles can get stuck. That's why they recommend to place it after the sediment filter...

My Aquatec finally seized up after about four years of use. It could very well been because of the sediment. Still worth it IMO.

At what psi do you suggest to have the ro/di running?

I do have one question tho, after i plug it in and have water going through it..is it suppose to be loud?

It is noisy and also vibrates aggressively. Not a pleasant noise by any stretch of the imagination. I keep mine in a very remote part of the house, buried in the basement.

Okay.

i had it install in the basement..and I can hear the vibration from the 1st floor..lol
