plumbing help needed

I have a plan that I've made up myself to add a tank as a refugium for my aquapod 24. It's kind of in a strange place, and they would be side by side. I think it's a good plan, and I have most of what I need, I think, including a cool 9 gallon plastic tank I found on ebay. The problem is that I'm a bit nervous about doing it myself, because I only have one shot, not to waste all of the cool parts I got. If I could convince one of you fine folk, who are more experienced in this stuff, to come over and spend a day in Astoria, I'd be willing to pay you with money/beer. Any takers?

This is a bump. I want to make it clear that I'm not making the success of this tank rely on whoever would help me. But if someone more experienced could look over my shoulder and tell me not to make mistakes that they've made / seen before, that would be pretty great.

Hello. Good Luck with your plans! You may have a little more success in recruiting someone if you give some general information on what you're trying to do? MR members are usually very helpful to those in our community. I know of a couple of reefers that are local to you that would probably be willing to help if they knew what your plains were and if they were possible.

And also assurances that you aren't just trying to lure people to your house to murder them. Don't forget the Internet is full of crazy people. Too many to just go over to random peoples houses.

Sure! I assure you that I'm not a murderer or a creap! Also, I'll post some more details about the project, later. I'm on the run right now. (not from the law)
