icecap 660 ballast question

I want to run ONE 48 inch T5 bulb but each time I plug it in the light flashes on and then immediately goes off. I checked and rechecked my wiring. I set it up with red and yellow to the endcaps. Can you run only one bulb off this ballast? Help. Thanks

I believe the minimum is two. check on the icecap website at the installation diagram, it will have the minimum requirements.

Thanks Alex. I looked forever to find a wiring diagram for one bulb. I didn't realize you needed a minimum of two bulbs.

I don't believe they recommend one bulb. if you look at the diagram it seems the two bulb layout depends on each other.
