Did you epoxy the LED stars on the heatsink vs drilling the heatsinks?

How does the optics stay on the LED's? Do they need to be glued down?

i used thermal pads from nanotuners.com ... they worked great and the LEDs seem to stay on there really well --- even when i screwed up getting them off with a butter knife was not the easiest
