Here's my stand from scratch

This is my DIY stand and DIY sump.

Stand is 2x4" around. Can't remember which plywood i used, but I used a dark Cherry stain.

The crown moulding on the stand took a few cuts with the Mitre saw, but after an extra trip to Lowes to get more moulding, I made decent cuts and, more importantly, I still have all my fingers. I had to make a few fixes in 2 corners, but i am happy overall

The sump consists of a single baffle and a 3 baffle bubble chamber. So far, everything is working great.

Thanks Bueller. From you that is a real compliment. I screwed up the corner cuts, and had to work some magic. I cut slivers, and glued them in place, and then sanded them down. I would have been prouder if I cut them correctly, but I was pretty happy with my solution... :tongue1:

I think it looks pretty good...I really like the inside cove molding you did to the bottom of the stand...Nice touch keep up the good work!!
