over flow question need answer ASAP

can anyone tell me whether i should put "teeth" on my overflow? im about to glue and i want to know if its absolutely necessary??? thanks for the quick response!

it's not ABSOLUTELY necessary, but it does act as a fish guard, so I would suggest you add something to prevent fish in the overflow...my overflows have teeth AND mesh for this reason.

thanks its for a fuge only, so no fish...for now i dont think, but i should i guess? its tall 14x24x24
