Wood finishes

I ordered a stand from glass cages for a small office tank. It will come in unfinished red oak. I'm looking for specific product recommendations for finishes, both stain and poly. Low voc only. Thanks

min wax has a waterbase clear you can get at homedepot.

Miniwax makes a Low VOC wood stain and you can seal it with their waterbase poly. For oak and what you will find in low VOC aside from commercial grade products its the best out there for the price scale. You can also use the Jeld Kote from wood-kote, any of the water based Behlen stains, or go through sherwin williams for their water based Low VOC wood stains and sealers/poly top coats.

Between the different products for a hand finish i would go with miniwax or sherwin williams line.
