advise on my stand build

so the stand im building is a corner stand shaped like a triangle.we put 2 studs shaped like an L in the corner adjoining the 2 walls.then we added 2 studs evenly spaced against left wall same on right wall.we also added 1 stud next to the left door and 1 stud next to the right door.we used 3/4 plywwod for the floor,2nd tier and the top which the 92 will sit on.so alltogether we have8 studs.we alsp ran studs along the top to carry the plywood evenly.now question is this tank will weigh roughly 1100 lbs with water,rock and sand.do u guys think this will be enough support.i cant add and support in the middle due to tanks are going to be under there.thanks for looking and help.

i would add more support ... instead of 2x4 use 2x6 and add cross members in between them this way they will stay put

have you seen the stock 92 bowfront stand? planks of pine and 1/8th veneer with the same (actually less) verticals that you outline.

if you're using 3/4 ply, it would be plenty as long as the ply is part of the load.

the tenecor aquarium stand for my 90 qtr round is all 3/4 ply. the 2 straight sides a big opening each and the front round side has the door. I'm sure what you're making is good enough. My F/W is only water and the fish, no gravel or anything that adds more weight before it had 3-4 in of gravel all around so it have to weigh at least 900lbs on a stand that's easy to carry by yourself.

Back in the day when I built my stand, I used only 2x3 and 1/2" ply. Also noteworthy is that I had to cut the stand in half after I built. I had a Homer Simpson moment when I tried to get a 36" stand through a 32" door opening. Doh! The 3 pieces of 1x4 on the front were added later to cover up where I had to rip the stand into two wedges.

nice build.see i dont have the center brace like u have in the front.and no plywood vertically.im using the 3/4 for the top center and bottom shelving.im using 2x4 nailed to wall studsshaped like a v in the back wall.i have 2 2x4s on edgeholding the top shelf where the 92 will be sitting.so 6 2x4 making up the V alltogether.then i have a 31 in opening in the front for the doors with no brace so i could have room to work under there.a 2x4 on each side with another 2x4 on edge going across 4 studs.i think its plenty.matter of fact its more then enough.8 studs can handle alot of weight especially so close together
