im pretty confident now that the stand will hold the weight .now ive had tanks all my life but never customized a corner tank before.the canopy im planning will enclose the tank with drywall behind it.should i put thin plexiglass up against the drywall or even thin plywood and caulk all the seams so i get no mold issues on the wall or am i being paranoid.

You will have an issue with salt creep eating away at the paint and drywall. If you look at the pic I posted in the other thread; I had two fans in the canopy, one blowing in one blowing out. When I broke down the tank on the wall that had the exhaust fan, I was able to pull a piece 16"x16" of paint and drywall paper off easily. Take note that they were only 120mm fans in there.
