Interesting but, being an anxiety ridden person, I would worry about outward pressure points on the sides of glass sump. Maybe unnecessarily, though.

I would be worried that the baffles would either come loose or move from the water movement or pressure. I think it may be nice to be able to move your baffles, if you want to make adjustments for a skimmer or refug, but I would think moving things around would only led to problem with the baffles holding into place.

Besides it's not really that hard to silicone in baffles.

I see you also "hear a leak" at 2am and end up jumping out of bed for no reason. Well checking out the tank at 2am with an led is hardly "no reason". :)
