LED question about PWM...

I'm thinking about a diy LED project and have a question for those who've already done this. One way to dim LEDs is to use pulse width modulation (PWM) which changes the duty cycle and this is perceived by the human eye as dimming - the brightness of the LED does not actually change. Do your corals extend and retract with the changing perceived light intensity?

On the Mean-wells the PWM driver adjusts the output current so you are dimming the LEDs intensity.
