got it set-up. even when the pump is off there seems to be a siphon going on. a steady drip coming from the line.
top off container is higher than the sump. not too much i can do about that.
i put a tee on the pressure side with a one way valve. blocks off under pressure, opens when pump shuts off. see how it works.
