Which Rio pump for an ETS Reefdevil?

I need to replace the pump on a reef devil. I have had nothing but good experiences using Rio pumps. Never had one die on me and in years of use I have never even had to change an impeller! (Not to mention that they are the cheapest pump in their class)

Which pump would be good for the ETS Reef Devil? I was thinking the Rio 2500, will this be powerful enough?

Good opportunity to upgrade skimmers IMO . Reef devils are very weak.

It worked pretty well... For the footprint I needed it to fill it is perfect... (Height, width and length)

A Gen-X GX-4100. I had bought it used. But it did the job quite well.

I am leaning towards the Rio because the output is greater, but I never trust manufacturer specs and wanted to get some feedback from others.
