1 mp40 enough?

Setting up a 75g mixed,mostly sps.Will 1 mp40 be enough.I know 2 would be better but don't have the $$$.

I have a 75 had it running for a couple of years with only one. And my tank is sps dominate. Just recently added another one though. I think one will work until you can get another one.

Depending in the glass thickness. U could probably do 2 mp10's

Thanks guys ,trying to figure out if I'll go with 1 mp40 or 2 tunze 6095,I'm thinking maybe 2 tunze would be the better option.

One is plenty for a new tank that does not have a lot of SPS. Add one when you need the flow, say in a year or so.

1 mp40 should be plenty, it all comes down to what corals you plan on keeping and how you aquascape it.

Anthony runs a single mp40 on his 75g deep blue and it works very well.

I was in the same situation 3 months ago. But I decided to go with 2 mp10wes, so I can get the alternating flow from both sides.

I have one on an sps dom 75 and I love it, but I agree that the amount and size of the sps and especially the aquascape matter so much. I will be looking to add another one in the future, it makes it easier on the wallet. lol
