Want to start up my tank again and need some help. I have a 180 with an Eshopps wet dry sump. Have had this tank running in the past with an external MTC skimmer which I was never fond of. Anyway sump space is tight. I have 12" x 8 1/2" of space in the sump for a skimmer. Have about 25" of height to work with. Was looking into different Reef Octopus skimmers but the whole footprint thing has me confused. Any suggestions on a skimmer that would fit in the space I have to work with. Thanks for the help. Forgot to mention it will be a FOWLR tank.

Sump dimensions

12" side to side. 10" front to back and can easily accommodate 25" of height. Anyone know of a Reef Octopus that would fit for a 180 FOWLR?

Is that your return pump? If so your going to have a rough time dialing it in from that compartment. The water level isnt going to be steady there due to evaporation and the skimmer will go nuts unless you have a ATO with a sensitive switch
