It's like too good to be true...continuous monitoring of:

Ph, temp,conductivity, o2, the usual things you can get probes for

The unusual though...

Cal, alk, mag, potassium, nitrite, nitrate, co2, ammonia, ammonium, salinity/tds

Its not out yet but keeping my eyes open..if its as good as promised, wow!!!

If we all start saving our pennies now we could do a group buy when they finally are released. Pricing should start around $2500. lol. For those that are wondering where I got that number from: Take your monitor/contoller that you bought. Now calculate all the add on. Now calculate all the things that this monitors that our controllers can't. Take in consideration this will be put out by eco tech. And last but not least its brand new. Ta da. There you have it. LOL. I must be tired

I'm having a hard time believing this will do everything it claims.

There are certain things listed there that it says it will "monitor" which is basically chemically impossible, like Alk for example. You need a reagent of some sort.

I've talked about this with a few chemists and the only way to do it is to have test strips that you replace every time you want to run certain tests.

I have the same problem with this that I have with the "thrive lab" I think it will be very hard for it to be 100% accurate and especially to stay that way. I would think it would have to be calibrated often and is there even such technology to make this legit? I'm not getting my hopes up

Actually, the Thrive lab uses test strips and a colorimeter from what I have seen, so that is technically possible.

Oh ok, honestly I haven't followed up on it since the first leak of it's existence but I was skeptical when I heard about it. Who knows maybe thrive will be the new amazing company to surprise us all and make our lives just that much easier. The easier it is to test the better. I hate testing.

....As long as it's accurate and not insanely expensive, it could be a winner. I would shell out a decent amount of money for this. I personally hate testing water parameters.
