Maxijets are definitely good. I prefer the older models, those are workhorses. Not sure what kind of GPH are you looking for, but I use Minijets as well. The speeds are selectable.

You might consider the Hydor Pico 400.
I use this on my TLF Phosban Reactor.
It's very small and only consumes 4 watts and does 100 gph.
TLF recommends a flow of about 40 gph which can be controlled by the pump or the valve on the reactor.
You can't beat the price.

Also use on my skimmer.
The one negative is that I've had a few that turn noisy after I took apart for cleaning.
Still, at this price...
