Ok so i figured I would ask around maybe i can get some ideas.

So i bought New filters from BRS, replaced them August 30th system was working fine. with in the last two weeks the pressure dropped to 20 Psi.

I tested the pressure coming in its sitting at 60-65, i removed the filters from the canisters one at a time and filled them back up empty, the pressure never went up until the last filter was removed then the pressure shot up to 60. So I know that the filters clogged. Like i said i have had the filters just over 2 months that. I have never had this problem before i was getting 6 months or more out of a filter change. But they have been working on the plumbing in my Building so its possible they change and contaminated something. But i really want to know if there is something i can do to extend the life of my filters like adding a second filter or something so that way im not replacing all my filters every 2 months.

Thanks in advance Dan

to get more life out of your carbon blocks change out your sediments filters more often! I typically do it every 2 months depending how much water I have made! I usually make 55g a week of top up water! so yeah the my 3 sediment filters (10,5and 1 micron) are pretty shagged by then!

What is the last filter? What micron? I have always started with a larger micron block, and go progressively smaller down the line. I never really see a drop in pressure.
