Hello all, I just got two new (to me) 250w galaxy ballasts to replace my icecaps (one of which began to fail). However I realized upon receiving them that the connector types were different. When I looked online I was able to find them but they are 40$ each. That is ten dollars less than I paid for the ballasts.... so question to those who know the answer. can I remove the female connector from the galaxy ballast and replace it with the female connector from the icecap? This would be done with properly rated crimp on connectors and shrink tubing, the icecap wiring in the picture was not done by me but by the person i purchased those ballasts from. My suspicion is that these are just proprietary connectors and that I should be fine. Thanks in advance for any response.
