skimz sm 203

Is this too much for a 65? I was looking at the sm163 but no one has this in stock.

i bought a used 203 for a 120. i have it on my 300 for now, but having a hard time dialing it in between the air, pump speed and waste valve.
i got it from jackson [rich] i think he had it on a 120.
sounds kinda big for a 65 unless an upgrade is in the future.

I figured that the 65 is gonna be my upgrade Im looking for a dc controll skimmer. All the skimmers I find are out of stock I wanted rlss i6 been checking sites for over a month cant get it same with the skimz model. I have a octopus now I want to try a different brand.

Ed how long have you been running it? I've been considering that skimmer for my new 180 build. I know tony is running the same skimmer on his new 200 DD
I also agree it might be a little big for a 65 unless you are considering a mega bio load

Way way too much for a 65 Steve. You're gonna strip the tank. That was the skimmer that I was running on my tank with 20 something fish.

Steve, I dont know if you found a skimmer but there is one for sale on nj reefers a 161 for 275.00

Thanks but I got a reef life support i6 they suppliers finally got stock. I just need a sump and build the stank and this tank will be up. The skimmer is built nice . I was gonna test it in my forty but its too much for that tank for sure.
