RODI Question

My wife said i can order an RODI, but it will have to be from any of the ones that Walmart carries. out of the ones in the link below can you all recommend one that i should buy?

can I ask why it has to be one that walmart sells? You can get better quality ones from other sites for less money.

I looked through a few pages of the ones from wal mart and they all had one big negative in common, none had a DI resin stage. I dont know of anyone who runs RO units for aquarium without a DI resin.

again, i dont understand the reasoning? is it because she thinks one from walmart will be cheaper? if so explain there are better options for cheaper through sites like BRS.

I personally have the value series with water saver kit which cost like $250, but you can get a unit there as low as around $150 which will include the DI resin and out perform all the ones walmart sells.

Her reasoning was if i wanted it now, i will have to charge it to my walmart card or wait until march when i order my new tank with my work bonus.

ok. thats understandable. In that case, i would personally just wait that way you can get the better unit.

Definitely wait. Spend a bit more - Saves money on fighting bad water issues down the road.

yup, all the ones from walmart are for drinking water, not aquarium water. You need a di stage and they no gots.
