Radeon xr15 Diffusers Installed

Arrived from ecotech parts at 7am today..

Took 5 minutes per light to install..

Lights power upbat 11am, supposed to be a wider spread along with a 20% reduction in intensity...
Figure ill wait till fully ramped up then ill bump up intensity from 42 to 60%

Wish i had a par meter...

It's a side effect. They didn't purposely design it to decrease light output.

I bought them because the HEI lenses were a little blinding when looked at in a sitting position. Also because it should eliminate hot spots inherent of LEDs.

It's really only day 1.5 for me but I do believe it does spread the LED better. For a layman's perspective, I would say that it's giving the point source lighting a more T5 characteristic. It definitely shows with the increased light bleed that I did not have prior to the diffusers.

I also think that the tank does not look as crisp with the diffusers on. You can really see what it does to the LED when it's at a low setting like 5%. (moonlight setting)

Definitely a more even spread, i bumped intensity from 42% to 59%
