taking apart a pendant?

i have two spider reflectors i purchased and then i purchased 2 custom sea life pendants. (250 w pendants)

should i take apart the pendant and use the spider reflectors?
would it help with heat dissipation?

are there different ratings for mogul sockets 175 -250?

can you post pics of both, i couldn't find any info on the sea life pendants, as far as heat every bulb has heat, it's just a matter of how you place them and what you use to dissipate the heat.

btw, i havent really messed with the internal fan, it doesnt seem to be working....could there be a heat sensor to turn it on?

i would like to, there is a separate plug for them so i dont think there should be an issue
