any info on modding a amiriacle hang on wet dry filter

this is a an amiricale hob sump i got from a friend. any feedback on anyone who ever used one would be appreciated. i replaced the stock skimmer with a tunze. some questions:
1. can i put rubble rock near the skimmer on the bottom or will that impact the skimmer
2. is the drip system a good one or should i lower the flow and submerge all the lve rock( drip sytem is in middle chamber)
3 . THE LAST CHAMber is being filled with rubble rock will this be a good idea or will it be packed too tight
4. should the last chamber be filled with cheato or maybe charcoal instead of live rock

Not sure about the live rock in the sump.It'll just get dirty and create more Nitrates.

Remove the drip plate and put the chaeto in there under a light(white stunner strips or panorama module). Too much rock will make a nitrate trap. Take some of the rock out of the main chamber.

Yep,use a light over it for the Cheato and some mangroves as well.No need for live rock.The skimmer should do it's job.

always thought lr was needed

right know i have first chamber with a tunze skimmer, second chamber i slowed down the return pump and FILLED with lr so it is completely submerged, 3 chamber is half live rock rubble and cheato. how does this sound
